Chapter 2: Lost and Found

Tom is in his office. His wallet is not in his bag. His keys are not on the desk. His ID card is not in his pocket. He is confused.

“Where is my wallet?” he asks. His friend Sarah is in the office, too. She is near the window.

Sarah is helpful. She looks around. “Is it on the floor?” she asks.

Tom is hopeful. He checks under the chair. “Yes, it is here! Thank you, Sarah!”

Sarah is happy. “No problem! It is important to be careful.”

Later, Tom is in the library. His book is in his bag. His wallet is in his pocket. He is careful now.

The next day, Tom’s boss is in the office. His ID card is not on the desk. His phone is not in his bag. He is worried.

Tom is helpful. He looks under the desk. The ID card is near the printer. “Here it is!” he says.

The boss is relieved. “Thank you, Tom! You are a lifesaver.”

Tom is happy. He is a good friend. Helping others is important.
